Very soft padding prevents pressure and rubbing around the horse's jaw. The pullback strap keeps the padded cushion underneath centred when you tighten the noseband, whichever hole you use. A removable Aachen strap lets you vary the noseband depending on what your horse requires, and its holder stays on the noseband.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe area behind the ears is very sensitive, with many nerves and ligaments, so the headpiece is extra wide to alleviate pressure from the bridle. A cutout on top distributes pressure evenly, and the headpiece is cut to provide space for the horse's ears, all for the highest possible comfort.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe cheekpieces are flat and designed to reduce pressure from the neck via PS of Sweden's elastic Cradles™. The idea is that the elastic acts to give the horse more comfort as the bit bounces, which should relieve the teeth and neck of static pressure. Many believe that horses are happier with this type of bridle and that it can be gentler and more horse-friendly than regular bridles and reins. The seams are round-stitched, and the optional Cradles have a French hook that makes them easy to detach when entering the dressage arena.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe browband is U-shaped to prevent pressure on the horse's forehead and eye sockets. A rubber-coated inside called anti-slip should keep it up, and the Click-It™ function makes it easy to remove and replace the browband as needed, even when the horse is wearing the bridle. The Click It™ buttons are blue, with the PS of Sweden logo on them.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe bridle works for all disciplines and is approved by the FEI when a throatlatch is added, for both horses and ponies. PS of Sweden recommends checking with your local equestrian authorities for detailed information in your country. For dressage competitions, buy a throatlatch, attach it to the browband and disconnect the Cradles. A compatible throatlatch model is Flat w\/ Dark Stitches.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eRecommended for horses that are stable in riding, enjoy a classic Aachen noseband, are sensitive to pressure over the nose ridge, and need mild to moderate relief over the molars.
