Use this size guide to find the correct rug size for your horse. Imperial Riding rugs are labelled using both UK rug sizing (feet) and US blanket sizing (inches) — both describe the same rug length.

How to measure your horse for a rug:

Bottom length (also the EU Size on the chart) — measure along the side of the horse, from the middle of the chest, around the shoulder, to the end of the quarters (just past the point of the buttock). This is the standard measurement used for UK and US rug sizing.
Top length — measure in a straight line along the back, from the base of the neck (at the withers) to the base of the tail.
Horse height — measured from the ground to the top of the withers. Use the hands (hh) column if you know your horse's height in hands, or centimetres if you've measured with a height stick.

The Imperial Riding Super-Dry Rain & Fly Rug is a lightweight turnout rug built for fly season and mild weather, with a waterproof backing and a breathable Super-Dry fabric. It has no insulation, so it suits warm-weather use rather than colder months.

The waterproof backing guards against light showers, while the breathable fabric helps protect against flies and midges, which are worst in damp, warm conditions. Buckle and snap hook closures keep the rug secure during active turnout, and the fast-drying fabric means your horse stays comfortable even after a wet spell.

A matching neck cover is available to buy separately.
