Cavalor Arti Matrix is a daily joint supplement that supports tendons, joints, bones and cartilage. It is a powder that you mix into the feed.
The formula works on several levels. Glucosamine, chondroitin sulphate and hyaluronic acid are building blocks for tendons, ligaments and joint fluid. MSM supplies sulphur in a form the body absorbs easily, and type II hydrolysed collagen strengthens the tissue around the joint. Vitamins C and E, beta-carotene and citrus bioflavonoids add antioxidant support.
Cavalor adds its own blend of herbs and essential oils, with pineapple, turmeric, boswellia and lime. The turmeric contains 95% curcuminoids, the active part of the plant. Cavalor tested the blend in research with the University of Prince Edward Island in Canada.

Key ingredients
- Type II hydrolysed collagen: produces a fibre network that supports the joints and strengthens tissue.
- Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM): the most easily absorbable and biologically available source of sulphur, which is important for muscles, joints, cartilage, bones and blood.
- Glucosamine, chondroitin sulphate and hyaluronic acid: vital building blocks for ligaments, tendons, bones and synovial fluid. The chondroitin sulphate has a low molecular weight and contains 90% active ingredients.
- L-glutamine and whey protein isolate: support the production of glutathione, a powerful antioxidant.
- Vitamins C and E, beta-carotene and citrus bioflavonoids: antioxidants that are important for the absorption of active ingredients and strengthen the immune system.
- Folic acid, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12: support the body's metabolic processes.
- Copper, zinc and manganese in organic (IntelliBond and chelated) and inorganic forms, and seaweed meal with calcium for bone strength.
- A blend of herbs and essential oils: Ananasus comosus, Curcuma longa, Boswellia serrata, Echinacea purpurea and Citrus aurantifolia. The form of turmeric used contains 95% curcuminoids, the active ingredient.
Feeding guide
Mix into the feed daily: ponies and leisure horses 30 g, sport horses 45 g. Best results after a minimum of 4 weeks. 1 measuring scoop in the bucket = 15 g. Maximum 90 g per horse per day.
Tip: the shared ingredients in Cavalor Arti Matrix and Cavalor ArtiTec make it easy to switch from one product to the other. Cavalor's experience is that it may be useful to switch to ArtiTec for optimum protection during periods of hard work.
Suitability
Not every horse needs the same level of protection. Cavalor Arti Matrix meets the increased needs of the locomotor apparatus in sport horses and provides extra support. Cavalor Arti Motion supports healthy tendons and joints and is especially intended for horses in the growth phase, non-working horses and horses that are not heavily strained. Cavalor ArtiTec provides proven protection at peak times.
