Cavalor Calm is a calming supplement that supports horses to stay focused and relaxed in stressful situations. It is developed to encourage nervous system balance and enhance concentration, for horses that are easily distracted by their environment, such as young, easily spooked horses.
It contains magnesium, L-tryptophan, B vitamins and herbs that improve concentration and induce relaxation. Its ingredients are associated with the GABA pathway: Camellia sinensis contains an amino acid that influences glutamate, an excitatory neurotransmitter, while promoting enzyme activity that enhances GABA production, and magnesium and vitamin B6 support the inhibitory functions of GABA. Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) provides flavonoids that promote relaxation.
A high dose of magnesium and L-tryptophan, combined with calming herbs, contributes to muscle relaxation and mood stabilisation. Calm also includes yeast, known for its positive impact on gut health and the gut-brain connection.

Feeding guide
Starting dose of 30 g, 2 to 3 days before an expected stressful situation. Can also be used for a longer period with a maximum of 4 weeks. Mix with the daily feed ration.
Maximum per horse per day: 60 g. 1 measure = 15 g.
Suitability
Cavalor Calm is ideal for nervous horses that react skittishly or temperamentally to changing situations or unusual circumstances (transport, noise, colours, lights, commotion, foreign environments, people and animals).
Cavalor Calm can also be combined with other calming products such as SoZen or Take It Easy (Forte).

Store in a cool, dry place. Keep out of reach of children. Close bucket after use. May be stored up to 1.5 years after the production date.
