PS of Sweden Bridle Jump Off - Black

The PS of Sweden Jump Off Bridle has been designed mainly for jumping and schooling. The noseband is designed to avoid pressure from the outside on the teeth and sensitive nerves, and has the functions of an Aachen strap and an English noseband in a stylistic way that provides better stability. The curved design leaves the cheekbones and sensitive nerve endings completely free, and the upper strap is tightened with a pullback closure that keeps the cushion underneath centred for the best pressure distribution.

The area behind the ears is very sensitive, with many nerves and ligaments, so the headpiece is extra wide to ease pressure from the bridle. A cutout at the top distributes pressure evenly, and the headpiece is cut to allow space for the horse's ears, all for the highest possible comfort.

The cheekpieces are designed to reduce pressure from the neck through PS of Sweden's elastic Cradles™. A Cradle is an extra elastic band on which the bit rests, located in the cheekpieces at the bit and on PS of Sweden reins. The idea is that they act elastically and give the horse more comfort by allowing the bit to spring, which then relieves the teeth and jaws of static pressure. Many believe that horses are happier with this type of bridle and that it can be gentler and more horse-friendly than traditional bridles and reins. The seams are round-sewn and the optional Cradles can be detached easily when you enter the dressage arena.

The browband is U-shaped to prevent pressure on the horse's forehead and eye socket, with a rubber-coated inside, known as anti-slip, that should keep it up. The Click-It™ function allows you to remove and replace the browband easily as needed, even when the horse is wearing the bridle.

The bridle works for all disciplines and is approved by the FEI. PS of Sweden recommends checking with your local equestrian authorities for detailed information in your country. For dressage competitions, buy a throatlatch, attach it to the browband and disconnect the Cradles. A compatible throatlatch model is Flat w/ Dark Stitches. Recommended for horses that need support and stability in their form, release the bit, have previously had bit or tooth-related injuries, and can sometimes become strong. Reins are sold separately.
