PS of Sweden Headpiece Medium w/ Patent Piping - Black
Use this size guide to find the right size in PS of Sweden bridles. Measurements are shown as centimetres/inches.
How to measure:
- Headpiece: measure to the bottom hole, as shown on the diagram.
- Browband: measure along the length of the browband.
- Cheek pieces: measure the length of the cheek pieces.
- Noseband: measure around the noseband and along its length, as shown on the diagram.
Fit notes:
- All measurements are the largest for each size.
- Nirak and Hackamore nosebands are given in two parts, A and B, as marked on the diagram.

The area behind the horse's ears is particularly sensitive, with many nerves and ligaments, and the PS of Sweden Headpiece Medium with Patent Piping is an extra-wide headpiece designed to reduce pressure from the bridle and optimise pressure distribution.
A rounded cutout at the top spreads the pressure evenly across the whole surface, and the headpiece is shaped to allow room for the horse's ears, further enhancing comfort. It also has elegant lacquered details on the sides.
It can be combined with all nosebands from the PS of Sweden classic collection (High Jump, Jump Off, Paladin, GP, Passage, Paragon and Flying Change), with the exception of Nirak, King Edward and Hackamore. It also fits other nosebands with a strap width of 1.2 cm.
