The Equitus Theta is Schockemohle's bitless bridle option, built on the same innovative design principles as the acclaimed Equitus bridle range, but designed specifically for bitless riding. The reinforced noseband is cut slightly wider than standard, with D-rings for rein attachment at the noseband. As bitless riding puts more pressure across the nose, the Theta has a slight reinforcement for a stable fit and soft pressure distribution on the nose bone.
That's not all - the Equitus Theta is a 3in1 bridle!
Thanks to the tried and tested button rivets, the Equitus Theta can also be used with a regular bit. Furthermore, it offers another innovative buckling option - the use with 2 pairs of reins!
To convert your Theta into a 3in1 bridle, you'll need to order separate Equitus cheekpieces from us, via special order. Please drop us an email to enquire. The cheekpieces are available with either buckle or hook and stud fastenings.
As a semi-bridle for sensitive horses or to introduce them to the bit, right up to an alternative in show jumping (even allowed at competitions from jumping class 130cm upwards) - Equitus Theta simply offers everything for riders who ride several different horses, or those that require multiple solutions from one bridle.
